Disruptor Programme

Disability awareness with a difference

What is the Disruptor programme?

A series of workshops exploring different themes around perceptions, attitudes and behaviours in relation to disability. Content is evidence-based from extensive research and lived experience and combines presentations, interactive tasks and open discussions.

Learning outcomes are bespoke to your organisation’s specific objectives and are implemented through a unique ‘Cultural Transformation Plan’.

Benefits to your team

1. Transform relationships within teams, your networks and the wider community
2. Provide a rapid response to opening up conversations and resolving issues
3. Create a long term difference to the culture of your organisation, its reputation in the wider community and, ultimately, its success

The programme is designed to have a ‘ripple effect’. Disruptor participants will be supported and empowered to make changes at an individual level which ultimately will have a wider impact at a team and organisational level.

“Working with ‘We are Disabled’ on an inspiring programme with senior leaders enabled fixed mindsets to become changed mindsets.”

Susan Fulton, Director of People, Home Group
